The political state of Israel that we all know of today, was not always in existence as the propaganda slingers might have the world believe. In fact way back in Biblical times the Jews and God had a “Pact”, known by the more familiar term of the time as a “Covenant”.
In Genesis 17:7-8 God said to Abraham,
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. (3)
And so with the advent of this covenant the Jews were promised a “Holy Land” where they would dwell forever and God had promised to be their God. This covenant was to be permanent and so was the land grant. However, in order for the Jews to continue to enjoy the benefits of this covenant, they had to be obedient to the terms God had laid out within the outline of the covenant. (Exodus 19:5-6) In the old testament that meant keeping the commandments and offering sacrifices as evidence they believed in a coming Messiah.
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
— Romans 2:28-29 (4)
So what happened after God made that covenant with the Jews, God’s “chosen people”?
NOTE: Here we will be switching to the “Common English Bible” (CEB) version for ease of reading, just remember to also reference this text against the King James Version (KJV) version to understand it in the terms of the day as it was understood back then.
Judah’s broken covenant with God
11 Jeremiah received the Lord’s word: 2 Listen to the terms of this covenant and proclaim them to the people of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem. 3 Say to them: This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Cursed are those who don’t heed the terms of this covenant 4 that I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, that iron crucible, saying, Obey me and observe all that I instruct you. Then you will be my people and I, even I, will be your God. 5 I will fulfill my solemn pledge that I made to your ancestors to give them a land full of milk and honey, as is the case today.
And I replied, “As you say, Lord!”
6 The Lord said to me: Announce all these words in the towns of Judah and on the streets of Jerusalem: Obey the terms of this covenant and perform them. 7 I repeatedly and tirelessly warned your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt to this very day, saying, Obey me. 8 But they didn’t listen or pay attention; they followed their own willful ambitions. So I brought upon them all the punishments I prescribed for violating this covenant—for refusing to obey.
9 The Lord said to me: A conspiracy is taking place among the people of Judah and residents of Jerusalem. 10 They have returned to the sins of their ancestors who refused to obey my words. They too are following other gods and serving them. The people of Israel and the people of Judah have broken my covenant that I made with their ancestors.
11 Therefore, the Lord proclaims: I will bring upon them a disaster from which they won’t be able to escape. They will cry out to me, but I won’t listen to them. 12 Then the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem will call upon the gods they worship,[a] but they won’t save them when disaster strikes. 13 You have as many gods as you have towns, Judah, and you have as many shameful altars for worshipping Baal as you have streets in Jerusalem.
14 As for you, don’t pray for these people, don’t cry out or plead for them, for I won’t listen when they cry out to me on account of their distress.
— Jeremiah 11 (CEB) (5)
So what we can glean from the text of Jeremiah 11 is that the original Jews and even their descendants had chosen to disobey God’s terms of the covenant and go their own way. To follow their own wisdom and even went so far as to turn to other gods (little “g”). God made it clear that if they did not uphold his commandments in this covenant then he would bring disaster upon them and they would indeed forfeit the “Holy Land” that was promised to them in the covenant between God and his people, the Jews.
Today there are many Jews living in America and abroad who fully understand that the land of Palestine DOES NOT belong to those Jews nor their descendants BECAUSE of the fact that the original people and their later descendants DISOBEYED God and they regularly come out in protest of what modern day Israeli leadership is doing in Palestine and the outright genocide of the Palestinian people. These are the Jews you rarely, if ever, hear about in the Main Stream Media because they represent a very strong threat to the sovereignty of the current day “Fake Jews” (the “Synogogue of Satan”, as named by Jesus).
If their story is heard, it immediately opens the eyes of those who hear it to the fact that current day Israel is simply a state that exists on the back of a horrific and ongoing act of genocide, a human rights violation against the true inhabitants of the land of Palestine (what is now called Israel), the Arab Palestinian people.
The current state of Israel is a farce. It is a political state and it stands on the military occupation of a stolen land. To understand this concept you need to first understand how the current state of Israel was created. The current state of Israel was created through an illegal act of grand larceny.
Grand larceny refers to theft involving excessive value of property generally $200 – $1000 or more. The penalty for grand larceny is greater than that for simple theft or petit larceny and is generally a felony rather than a misdemeanor. Laws defining larceny generally differentiate by type of items stolen, intent and the event in which the theft occurred, such as shoplifting.
In this case the “larceny” involves the outright theft of a massive region of land that rightfully belongs to the Arab Palestinians. Not only do the actions of the Israeli leadership constitute grand larceny or theft of the land of the Palestinians, but it also constitutes and act of war, a heinous crime against humanity.
The actions of the current occupying regime in Israel (Palestine) also consist of an ongoing campaign of “Massive Genocide” against the true inhabitants of the land. The term “IRGUN” is probably one that you may not be familiar with. “IRGUN” is a paramilitary organization that was also known as “The Etzel”. This paramilitary organization refused to bow to political pressures when it came to securing Palestine as the new state of Israel for the current illegal occupiers of the land of Palestine. They created propaganda that labeled the Arab Palestinian victims as “Arab Maunders” who would cause mayhem with the attempts of the Jewish settlers while they setup their illegal settlements, later giving them the scarier title of “Palestinian Terrorists”.
The Arab Palestinians were simply doing the same thing you and I would do in the event of a military invasion / occupation attempt by an outside force. In this case the IRGUN, an offshoot of the “Haganah”, invaded the land of Palestine before and after the Balfour Declaration was signed. The current occupation began to ramp up in 1948 after the Balfour declaration was signed by then President Woodrow Wilson. The video below explains how the Balfour Declaration came into existence as presented by Robert Sepehr.

How the Balfour Declaration Came Into Existence
Now, getting back to the story track:
After a while the tensions between the native Palestinians and the invading Jews began to intensify. Once this happened, the new group “The Etzel” splintered in to two camps. Roughly half of the members returned to the Haganah which was controlled by the Jewish Agency and the other half formed what is now known as IRGUN or Irgun Zvi Leumi “National Military Organization” (NMO). They aligned themselves with the ideals of Ze’ev Jabotinsky, MBE, who, according to Wikipedia (7), was a Russian Jewish Revisionist Zionist leader, author, poet, orator, soldier and founder of the Jewish Self-Defense Organization in Odessa. With Joseph Trumpeldor, he co-founded the Jewish Legion of the British army in World War I.
The Irgun Zvai Leumi rejected the “restraint” policy of the Jewish Agency which preferred to use political powers to forward the goal of reclaiming the land. The Irgun began carrying out armed reprisals against the Arabs, usually in the early morning hours when most of the native Palestinian families were still asleep in their homes. While these early morning attacks provided relief for the settlers, they caused political embarrassment for the Jewish Agency.
While the Jewish Agency tried to provide a image of the Jew as a moral person being terrorized by the Arabs, thus winning support from the non-Jewish world, albeit at the expense of the Jewish settlers, the Irgun moved into the vacuum and gave it’s full support to the settlers (8).
In summary, the Irgun was a Jewish underground organization, founded in 1931 by a group of Haganah commanders, who left the Haganah in protest against its defense charter. In April 1937, during the Arab riots, the organization split—about half its members returned to the Haganah. The rest formed a new Irgun Zeva’i Le’umi (abbr. Etzel), which was ideologically linked with the Revisionist Movement and accepted the authority of its leader, Vladimir Jabotinsky.
Etzel rejected the “restraint” policy of the Haganah and carried out armed reprisals against Arabs, which were condemned by the Jewish Agency. Many of its members were arrested by the British authorities; one of them, Shlomo Ben Yosef, was hanged for shooting an Arab bus. After the publication of the White Paper in May 1939, Etzel directed its activities against the British Mandatory autorities.
At the outbreak of World War II, the organization declared a truce, which led to a second split (see Lohamei Herut Yisrael). Etzel members joined the British Army’s Palestinian units and later the Jewish Brigade.
From 1943 Etzel was headed by Menachem Begin. In February 1944, Etzel declared war against the British administration. It attacked and blew up government offices, military installations and police stations. The Jewish Agency and the Haganah moved against the Etzel in a campaign nicknamed the Sezon. Etzel joined the Jewish Resistance Movement and after its disintegration in August 1946, Etzel continued attacks on British military and government objectives.
In April 1947, four members of the organization were hanged in Acre prison. In May 1947, Etzel broke into the fortress at Acre and freed 41 prisoners. In July 1947, when 3 other Etzel members were executed, the I.Z.L. hanged two British sergeants.
In August 1948, the newly formed Israeli cabinet voted to issue an ultimatum telling the Irgun to join the IDF (thereby losing their own organizational identity) or force would be used against them. The Etzel high command offered to disband the organization and integrate its members into the army of the new Jewish state. Full integration was achieved in September 1948 (9).

The 2014 war on Gaza saw the Israeli military launch a devastating attack on the Gaza Strip. Over the course of 51 days, Israel dropped nearly 20,000 tonnes of explosives on Gaza, killing more than 2,000 Palestinians, wounding tens of thousands and obliterating countless homes. The overwhelming majority of the casualties were civilians.
The attacks sparked mass protests around the world, including a thousands-strong march in Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square, with a clear divide between anti-war and rightist protesters. However, the American reaction held firm in its support for Israel, in spite of the atrocities taking place on the ground. A CNN/ORC poll conducted in July of 2014 showed that only four in 10 Americans believed that Israel was using too much force against the population of Gaza. The same poll showed that 12 percent of respondents believed Israel was not using enough force. (1)
Despite receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from those who have actually seen it, The Occupation of the American Mind has been repeatedly attacked and misrepresented by right-wing pressure groups and outright ignored by virtually all mainstream media outlets and North American film festivals. To bypass this campaign of misrepresentation and suppression, we’ve decided to make the film available for FREE online so that people can make up their own minds about its analysis of U.S. media coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Please watch and share widely!
